I'm 15 weeks tomorrow & tbh I don't feel even the slightest bit pregnant anymore no sickness or anything at all Confused

I've not had any bleeding but last week I was in a lot of pain which has stopped finally .
Dp is worried (not a natural worrier) as I mentioned it to him .
Not sure what to do or think , any advice as this is my first

First baby for me too, can't help worrying, I had bleeding in first trimester but healthy scan at 12 weeks. I try to remember that the risk of something going wrong after the first trimester is really very small. My symptoms (nausea, fatigue) almost dissapeared at about 15 weeks (3 weeks ago), I've read that's perfectly normal as you go into the second trimester. The midwife listened to the heartbeat with a Doppler at the 16 week appointment - hopefully yours will as it really reassured me. But I've heard not all midwives like to use the Doppler at the 16 week appointment as depending on how the uterus and baby are positioned it's sometimes difficult to locate the heartbeat and this can cause unnecessary worry. I've felt no movement yet but expect to in the next couple of weeks (by 20 weeks hopefully). My bump started to appear at 16 weeks so made me feel more pregnant but some people don't show till past 20 weeks, it depends on your build and how your uterus is positioned I think. I've had stretching pains, I think that is the uterus and surrounding tissues growing and stretching. Have you got your 16 week appointment booked? You can talk through your worries there or if you get pains again and they concern you could just give your midwife a call.

I used to forget I was pregnant once the vomitting stopped, and only really became aware of it again when I started opening doors onto my bump.

When is your next MW appointment? Usually a 16 week appointment will include MW listening to the heartbeat

My mw mentioned she would see me again at 16 weeks (this was over a month ago now) & I haven't heard from her since so no 16 week appointment booked which is making me more anxious , had my first scan last fortnight and all was fine

You probably need to call your doctors surgery and book a 16 week appointment.

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 04/10/2014 20:13

Ill give my Midwife a call on Monday as she works from several local surgeries

I was 15 weeks on Thursday and was thinking the same how I didn't feel pregnant but today nausea is back.
This is my 3rd and I still worry.
But try not to, easily said :-)

Hi,
I felt exactly the same at 15 wks, my energy was back up & had no sickness. I.presumed the worst until later in that week, I felt my first pops!! Now I'm 20 wks & pops have turned into proper kicks.
The placenta has taken over hence you feeling so well again..enjoy it & look forward to your 16wk checkup!

I felt exactly the same 13-16 weeks. I had an unrelated scan at 16 weeks and was crying before it began as I knew the baby was dead. It wasn't. Please take reassurance from others saying they felt the same.

DanyStormborn · 05/10/2014 15:16

I think in most places you book your own MW appointments at your doctor's surgery.

capecath · 05/10/2014 19:07

Haha I am feeling the same, grateful for the reassurance and this is my third!! 16+5 and looking forward to midwife check this week. I am going to ask for her to check for heartbeat cos she didn't by default with ds2 and I stressed until 20 week scan. It is a weird time. Sickness died down, bump seems to have gotten smaller (although probably just bloating gone down) but no movement yet so you doubt.... I had anterior placenta with both of them so only felt movement after 20 weeks and sonographer said it looked like it may be the same this time. You're most likely all ok but do get your 16 week check booked x
