Leaking nipples at 33 weeks?

Just noticed my pyjama top has a huge wet patch
My nipples are leaking! This hasn't happened yet
Its just like water ? Also I had a pierced nipple took it out over a year ago and the water is coming out of one of the old pierced holes ! Is this normal?

Can't help with info on your nipple piercing but I woke up for the first time this morning with a wet mark on my pj top and I'm just 23/24 weeks.
I think it is just supposed to be water-like but I've ordered up some washable breast pads just in case. Don't fancy a damp patch occurring during the day!

Mine started leaking at about 20weeks and have been going strong since then, now 31weeks. It's mainly at night so haven't got through many breastpads and is sometimes clear and sticky and sometimes lovely golden colostrum or whatever it is called. I think everyone's different and it starts earlier in some women than others.
I assume it will come out of any holes it can find, hence your piercing leaking. Might be worth mentioning to your midwife if you're planning to breastfeed as the piercing sites might be more likely to get blocked/infected. I don't know from experience but i'm sure someone else will. I have just been making sure to keep them clean as the sticky stuff isn't very nice and crusts up which is pretty rank.
