where do contractions start? top or bottom of bump?

This is my 2nd but was induced with first and she was back to back so constant pain from start. so never had the is this it?????

I had a show last night and still bleeding now though now its turned a gross brown colour. i am 37 + 6......

I was also induced, but with normal presentation, all contraction pain was in the lower half but the top of my bump went as hard as a rock!

...Sounds like you could be starting, good luck!!!

lower down, for me like period pain - but they didn't get going quick enough for the midwife, so they "augmented" them - and then they were as you say, everywhere all at once!

bottom at first then all the way up ! happy birthing x
