How often should bump be measured?

Hello,

My bump was measured at 28weeks and has not been measured since. My next midwife appointment is at 38 weeks.

This is my second baby.

Is that the usual amount to be measuring?

I've been measured fortnightly since 34 weeks, on DC3. Have you had appointments and they haven't been measuring you, or haven't you had any appointments between 28-38 weeks?

Had one appointment last week with consultant in order to book in for c-section. No one measured bump at that point.
Last midwife appointment was at 28 weeks and they've told me to book in again at 38 weeks. C-section will be at 39 weeks.
I realise this makes me a bit silly, but I watched the Panorama program about still births which highlighted the importance of spotting if a baby's growth has slowed. This has made me a little anxious about not being measured.

I've been measured at every midwife appointment, since 25weeks.

Have you not had any appointments in between?

For second baby's it says in my notes you should have appointments at 16, 28, 34, 36, 38 and 41

So you need two extra 34&36. How far along are you now?

I was first measured at 24 weeks at my GP app (we alternate between MW and GP for our antenatal appointments here) and then by midwife at 28 weeks, GP at 31 weeks, and next will be midwife at 34 weeks. First baby.
Like November I have a calendar of scheduled appointments in my notes, do you?

I was measured last week by mw at 25+4 weeks and next seeing her at 31+4 weeks but I have a growth scan in between at 28+4 weeks. If you are worried call and ask for an extra appointment in a few weeks and I am sure they will accommodate that for you.

Stopped faffing around and actually called the midwife.
Turns out I should have been measured at the consultant appointment. I'm 34 weeks now. I have an appointment with the midwife early next week and will be measured then.
Thank you for the replies.
