Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has been through anything similar and looking for hope. I have a lovely healthy 2yr old DS, but recently miscarried a second pregnancy. Now in 3rd pregnancy and was feeling so happy about it but been spotting for a week, had a scan at 8 weeks and heartbeat detected but small for dates. Last night and today bleeding has got much heavier and red also have period like pains. I have another scan booked for tomorrow just feeling so anxious about having another mc and feeling so sad Sad Wondered if others had similar experiences and what outcomes they had? I had a very normal pregnancy first time with no bleeding.

Hello Daisy,

I have no experience with miscarriage but just wanted to say how sorry I am your going through this.

I hope you get some answers from your scan tomorrow.

Hi Daisy, I really hope all is well for you tomorrow,
I had similar a few years ago, I had 2 normal pregnancies with no bleeding, then had a third a few years later which ended in a very traumatic mc, pregnant again a year later and had another mc, I was devastated and thought that all my chances had gone, when I found myself pregnant again I couldn't hold any hope that I would carry it successfully, she stuck!! I am now pregnant with DC4 and 18 + 5 and feeling movement so I'm beginning to relax a little, but I don't think the fear will truly go away for me.
I really wish you have a good outcome and hopefully my experience can give others hope that subsequent pregnancies can be successful.
Good luck x

Thanks so much for your support and thanks for sharing your positive story Mexicantortilla, I do wish you the best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy. Unfortunately it was bad news for me today Sad. It does make me feel better to know that others have been through similar and have ended with positive outcomes in the end. X
