Anyone had their flu jab yet? I had mine yesterday, am 26+4.
I asked the nurse would there be any side effects, she said just a sore arm.
Well I feel terrible today, like a bad cold, plus my arm really hurts!

Anyone else had this? Seems too much of a coincidence not to be related to the jab?
Thanks

I posted something similar yesterday. Had flu jab on Saturday and so far am on my second day off work due to horrid headaches, shivers, congested face etc… I have had flu jabs before with nothing like this so I don't know Confused

I do know there was a 'virus' going around work last week so I have chalked it up to weakened immune system + jab + that = illness

Thanks get well soon

Oh sorry to hear that OP. I can't advise as I haven't had mine yet. Am due to have it in a couple of days and think I am already starting to get a bit of a coldy thing which has been doing the rounds at work anyway so will watch this with interest.

Get well soon! Here is some honey and lemon Brew

It's probably a coincidence as it's not a live vaccine so it can't cause flu

I had mine yesterday too. Got sprung on me as I was waiting to see my midwife!!! I've felt a bit grotty today but DH keeps bringing home colds, so don't know if it's the jab or his germs!!!

I get the flu jab every year due to being immunocompromised (although this year as I'm pregnant too they managed to remember this time)
I always have a sore arm and feel a bit crap for a couple of days.
As someone else said it's not a live vaccine so it can't give you flu but I think the body does take a bit of adjusting to it.

I had mine yesterday and had a bit of a sore arm overnight (which at 35+ weeks and wanting to sleep on side was not great), but no other ill effects. I think more likely to be to do with circulating viruses and the changing weather.
Feel better soon Thanks.

Thanks everyone. That's what I thought about it not being a live vaccine.
Not so bad now, just a sore throat/headache. Maybe I picked something up from the waiting room!
