Rectal bleeding but no piles, constipation or pain

For the past week or so, I've had bright red blood in the toilet and on the paper after I have been for a poo. I don't have piles, a fissure or constipation and am not experiencing any pain or stinging. Any ideas what could be causing it?

I'm 35 wks pregnant and have a midwife appointment next week but would rather avoid discussing it as my 8 yo will also be there!

I had this earlier on and put it down to internal piles. At 35 weeks the weight of bump/baby can cause these without you being majorly constipated. Fresh red blood suggests piles. Ring MW or see GP for reassurance x

I have same. not a lot of blood, just a little spot on tissue paper, but bright red. I assumed piles or fissure but have no pain or discomfort, although I am going to loo a lot recently so maybe its a little irritated back there...?! Am 34+4wks

Cloudiapickle you must see your dr as soon as possible ! It may be internal piles but it also could be something else . Better to be safe and get checked out . x
