I know this is probably irrational...but I'm convinced my little boy will be early. I'm 23 weeks and petrified he's going to arrive next week.

I am high risk so that's possibly a reason I'm so concerned but...I'm just so scared. someone reassure me!

Hi,

Sorry you're feeling like this. Maybe you're focusing on next week as subconsciously you know that 23 weeks is on the cusp of viability; you may feel better once you get past the 24 week mark.
You say you're high risk-is there any reason why this would make you have a preterm baby? Think most people worry about things like this as we are used to controlling everything in our lives and pregnancy is one of the few things that we have no control of!
Just remember, the majority of babies are born full term and perfect - only a minority are born preterm (this coming from a Neonatal Nurse Smile ).
