Snuzpod (or similar) for Ikea Malm bed with ledge

Hi, we are thinking about buying a Snuzpod for our little one due in Jan. However I'm not sure it'll fit against our Ikea Malm bed (like this www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S19887645/) as it has a low down ledge all the way round.

Has anyone tried it?

I suppose I could wedge something (rolled up towel?) on the ledge between our mattress and the Snuzpod, but that might not be very safe if it became loose?

I seen the Snuzpod at babiesRus the other day and it has lots of heights you can adjust it to I don't think it would be to much of an issue with the ledge as doesn't look to big, a towel or a little bit of foam wedged in-between maybe a good idea, my bed is high up and i don't think the Snuzpod will match in height so i just plan on scooping them out of it next to me when i get mine.

MsFrazzles, I bought one not long ago to go next to our divan bed and saw that it had loads of height settings. I have just had a look at mine and actually has a piece of plastic in the zip down bit which should act a a bridge between beds so you should be fine.

I would highly recommend getting one, ours has been a godsend!

I wouldn't worry too much about the ledge. Mine has a small ledge around the bed and there is no issue with my snuzpod next to it. When the wall folds down there is a plastic bit in it that sort of bridges the gap. If you are worried just pop a rolled up blanket in between but I really don't think you'll need it. It is definitely worth buying, I love it!

Thanks ladies, I think we'll go for it!

I got the little £40 crib from Mothercare and sawed the side off it (sanded and painted the gaps so you'd not notice) - it fits perfectly between my side of the bed and the wall. My mattress slides over enough to fill any gaps.

I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on the snuzpod or bednest, even though they are both lovely.
