DC2 is due in December and whilst DS1 was hardly huge at 8lb14 / 4.05kg he was certainly too big for me at that stage, he had positional talipes in his feet and torticollis (twisted neck muscles) due to being so squashed in the womb (normal fluid amount). The fact he arrived 12 days late definitely didn't help...
He's now 2 and has no lasting problems, but we had physio for the first 6mths on foot & neck. We also opted for helmet treatment for him between 6-9 months to correct the pretty severe plagiocephaly (flat head) that resulted from his torticollis (twisted neck means he always favoured turning and tilting his head in one position)
I know it doesn't necessarily follow that I will have the same problems this time round, but can't help wondering! I would be v interested to hear how your second babies compared to your first, in terms of size / lateness / squashedness...
