Lactation in early pg??

Me & dp had been ttc for 18mths when he proposed a few months ago...we decided to stop trying until the wedding. My first period after the engagement was 2wks late, very light and only 5 days long (normally lasts 10-14 days since coming off the pill). I put it down to excitement/nerves but tonight I've noticed that I seem to be lactating- not much but a few drops from both breasts.

I've looked at cycle & worked out that I could possibly have gotten pg just before engagement (and my last period could have been implantation?) but that would only work out as around 10wks pg...isn't that far too early to be lactating?

Has anyone else experienced lactation early on on pregnancy? Or could this be something else entirely?! Need to get to the shops early tomorrow to POAS but cannot sleep with nerves!!

It's possible. I leaked colostrum from very early pregnancy during all pregnancies.

The only way you'll know is to POAS :)

I hope you get the result you're hoping for. Weddings can soon be altered to suit a pregnant bride if necessary :)

I did, but was over 20 weeks by then.

Good luck!

That was my first symptom and what made me POAS with ds2. Started a bit later this time around. Maybe 14 weeks ish. So yes, it could be a sign. POAS op!
