This pregnancy (with DC3) has hit me like a train. At 14 wks it is slightly better in terms of awful morning sickness but the feeling like death warmed up still has not left. Today a short trip to supermarket has left me nauseous and bedridden for the rest of the day. Today was low part of up and down.
I thought that instead of accepting it as normal amusing rite of pregnancy maybe hive mind can share tips and encouragement on achieving fitter pregnancy? Instead of waiting around for the magic second trimester glow that may not appear?))
- (if no SPD) take more walks and exercise daily (kinda obvious, I know - easier said than done but it looks like maintaining core strength may really help) - I just signed up to challenge to climb 300+ steps on Big Ben with friends in Jan (at 7 months pregnant!)
- avoid excessive weight gain (easy I know...)
- keep iron levels optimal (mine are good level which doesn't help but obviously important for others to look out for their iron)
What else? Feel free to add your tips/permanent bone-aching fatigue commiserations))))
