Low lying and anterior placenta - baby ok???

Hi all. Had my 20 week scan yesterday. I knew from a scan a few weeks ago that I had an anterior placenta but now told yesterday its low lying too (graded as 3-4). Midwife told me I would have to come back to be re-scanned at 28 weeks to see if its moved. I'm having a section again anyway at 39 weeks so not concerned about that but worried this could affect the baby somehow. Midwife told me not to google which I haven't as yet (already super anxious in this pregnancy) but then didn't really say anything else. Would be grateful for any stories, its the baby I'm worried about Sad

I did, I'm now 36 weeks and baby is fine it's a normal position for a placenta only a problem if it doesn't move, which means a risk of bleeding and csection.

I had a bleed at 33 weeks and a scan and placenta was still low, so rescan this week and placenta has now moved. I'm also having a csection at 39 weeks anyway x

Thanks so much LBNM and Annbag (and congrats on birth of ds!). You have both made me feel so much calmer (until I find something else to worry about! Wink ) xx
