Spots and headaches?

Hi - I need some reassurance as I've had really bad spots this week, have been feeling exhausted, and now have a splitting headache. I'm nearing the end of my first trimester and have had some light spotting 2 previous times, with a little more today.

I've felt very low today, convinced I'm having a MC. I had a scan two weeks ago and all was normal (despite spotting), and have another due this week, so there's no point in going to GP.

I just wondered if other ladies had these symptoms so I could reassure myself. In my worried, googling world they are caused by a drop in pregnancy hormones...

Didn't have the headaches but did have the spots. My skin's never been great and I had hoped for beautiful pregnancy skin but no Sad week 9 was the worst, it's a little better now but still quite bad at 32 weeks

I'm at 13 weeks and have been plagued by spots & headaches for a couple of weeks. I've had a scan this week & all was fine. It could just be good hormones, making you feel pants. Try not to worry.

I'm 12 weeks and my skin has got bad this week and I've also been getting daily headaches - putting it down to hormones.

When I was at your stage I was having regular nose bleeds, head aches and my skin dried up (I have eczema normally)! I also had bleeds at 8 and 10 weeks. I'm 23 weeks now and (touch wood) little un is fine!! If you are really worried call your midwife for some reassurance :) xx

I had spotting, pimples and migraines x1-2 per week in my first trimester of my second pregnancy (already prone to migraines whwn not pg). All went well; spotting stopped after 14w and so did the migraines.

I went full term and delivered a healthy 6lb 9oz baby girl who is now a whirlwind 2.5yo Smile

I had awful spots in the first trimester with two of my pregnancies. I also had a huge increase in migraines and headaches with three of them. They can be caused by the hormone changes in pregnancy and aren't necessarily anything to worry about.

Hi ive been to gp as I am getting migraines . They started around wk 14/15 and peaked I had 2/3 a week even took medication they were that bad . However at 21 wks ive just had 1 in 2 wks which is great . My gp said they are caused by hormones and are normal in pregnancy . See your dr if your cooncerned .
