It's 4 am. I am wide awake. Dh, ds and the cat are all fast asleep. I don't get insomnia ever. Except while pregnant. When I need that sleep more than ever.

Am very annoyed.

Same here! I've been awake since 2.30... I can deal with a lot I think, but lack of sleep? It's almost like torture. Even at weekends I wake up very early and then doze off on the sofa after lunch!

I'm suffering this too. Desperate to get up and clean the bathroom but don't want to wake DH!
I'm 28 weeks. How far along are you?Smile Smile

Cherrypi · 26/09/2014 04:36

Me too. Had horrible dream about being forced to go on a zip wire.

BilboTheAlmighty · 26/09/2014 04:39

Lol at wanting to clean the bathroom alexharry Isn't that strange how our brains work? I get obsessive over what I have to do at work. No amount of lists will help so I keep making them in my head instead...
25 weeks here!

And me. Last two mornings I've been ping!! Wide awake from 4am. DP & DD fast asleep and snoring. Even DDog is asleep (downstairs) - he who is never still. The cat is delighted I am awake though.

I'm only 10+4, I hope this isn't setting the scene for the rest of the pregnancy. Didn't get it with DD. I was that knackered I could barely stay awake past 8pm and slept till the alarm went off.

Serenitysutton · 26/09/2014 05:54

Hello fellow insomniacs! I've been ill which made it seem more likely if need sleep! I think maybe I should just embrace it, worrying about being tired makes you more stressed. Give me a couple days and will be tearing my hair out!

I didn't go back to sleep till 5 but eventually for my book out hence I didn't come back. Am 15 weeks. Slept awfully first 12 weeks then better the last few but last night was hell - particularly coming after two nights being up with ds!

I hope we all et better sleep tonight. I saw the Chiro this morning and he assures me that I will as I was apparently all out of alignment. He better be right or I am demanding my money back!! Wink

Pregnancy is crap huh? Grin

duvetfan · 27/09/2014 08:18

I wish I had found this at 3.30am...got up for a couple of hours as I was sick of lying awake. I am 37 weeks so I need all the sleep I can get. hope you all got some sleep. Smile

LBNM19 · 27/09/2014 08:34

It's awful isn't it, I've not been able to sleep for the last couple of months. Never had this with my first pregnancy.

I'm 36 weeks now and had an awful night last night Sad
