how soon did you feel the baby move???

this is my 2nd pregnancy. With my ds I felt my 1st movements around 17 weeks . I thought I read somewhere that with 2nd babies you feel movements sooner. I am now 19 weeks and worried as the baby is simply not moving (not that I can feel anyway). I have a scan on Friday to hopefully put my mind at rest.

i am pregnant with my third and didn;t feel movements till 19/20 weeks and now it doesn't stop.
I think when it says that with subsequent pg you feel it sooner, it has more to do with the fact that you know what it feels like and will pick up on it sooner but that doesn't neccessarily mean that the baby will move sooner.
your scan on friday will put your mind at ease, try not to worry I'm sure your fine. soon you'll be complaining that the little acrobatic bump is keeping you up at night

thanks, trinity, I know I'm being silly, afterall my bump is growing!
(I had a scare at the 1st scan which is all ok now but it has left me feeling overly cautious)

apparantlyif the placenta is at the front you won't be able to ffeel much so that might be the prob

Pinktulips is right. My 21 scan revealed my placenta was 'anterior' therefore bubs kicks and movements are cushioned. Sometimes I feel lots of movement other days nothing. Bit annoying really!

22 wks I felt definite kicks - but in the few wks leading up to that I felt something I thought might be wind but may have been kicks...

Hi! I'm new here. Am 24+6 wks with my first pregnancy. I felt vague "shifting" at around 19/20 wks then felt proper, definate movement at 22/23 wks.

I felt first movements around 15 weeks - like palpitations as baby was bouncing off of my descending aorta i think - very weird. First big kicks at about 18 weeks.

This is my 3rd pg and I'm 9 weeks. I swear I can feel little flutters going on but then I convince myself that its either psychological or I'm much further along than I thought before - I'm going around in circles with it!! I know what it feels like so I know I'm not making it up!

The midwife just said to wait until the nuchal scan which will be at least 3 weeks or so - grrrr! I'm sure if I just chill out, all will be well
