Indulge me, please :)

I've had my hospital booking in appointment this morning. Due to very high BMI & BP issues in my last pregnancy (DD now 10.5m old) I am to be consultant led. I'm fine with this, I was with DD and my consultant appointments consisted of 'Are you OK? Do you feel OK? Any questions? See you next time' and I am hopeful it will be the same this time. Anyway, my named consultant this time is the consultant who ended up delivering DD (he was acting as second midwife, DD was in a tremendous hurry, the MW had nipped out for seconds and on her way back through the door, DD was insistent she arrived instantly and the consultant happened to be walking by and heard the commotion!). I know the likelihood of us actually seeing him during this pregnancy are slim - I don't think I ever saw my named consultant with DD - but it has made me smile :)

I now have my pregnancy notes, its all real again....I'm having another baby! Now I just can't wait for my first scan :) (Torn between fear of there being something wrong and scan overexcitement, but still :) )
