Hey everyone,

I need to get hold of some good quality skinny maternity jeans in black, the ones I want on ASOS are permanently sold out! Ideally I would like some fashionable ones rather then really 'mumsy' dodgy ones Grin do any of you have any of you lovely ladies have any good recommendations please? I don't want to spend a fortune ideally.

Many thanks

Cherry Smile

Try new look or h&m. H&M tend to wash better.

woodwaj · 25/09/2014 09:45

H&m best part is they have them in to actually try before you buy!! Too skinny for my chunky legs though :(

Thanks ladies!! x

Topshop maternity jeans are great! So comfy and a lovely material! X

SeaSaltMill · 25/09/2014 12:19

I have black H&M jeggings on at the mo. only £14.99. Topshop are great but pricier and not over the bump from what I recall.

Rustyzilla · 25/09/2014 13:17

I second Topshop, bought a pair yesterday for £38 which is more than I'd have liked to spend but they are such a lovely material and I actually felt nice in them which seems to be a feeling few and far between during my pg! Also my local h&m has stopped selling maternity in store! Angry

I am a big fan of Topshop but don't rate the Leigh Maternity jeans.

They look great on for about 10 minutes, then go baggy. I spend the whole day yanking them up!

misskipper · 25/09/2014 15:11

I've had to sew my ASOS ones up 4 times in the crotch!!!!! Useless, but at 39 weeks I refused to buy any more! Luckily I found a back up pair in the mamas & papas sale for £12. I'm guessing the H&M are probably the way forward :)

Cherryblossom200 · 25/09/2014 15:16

I got some skinny dark blue jeans from New Look. They were great till I hit about 27 weeks when they just started falling down a LOT. Not sure if that's to do with the jeans or my bump size... I did get a pair of nice kick flare jeans from Debenhams and they are staying on which is a bonus. Not skinny though, but I am sure they have those too.

juneavrile · 25/09/2014 17:45

All my maternity jeans need yanking up constantly - so I bought a pair of braces on ebay for two quid. Problem solved.

Sorehead · 25/09/2014 19:20

I got some maternity jeans from Primark a while ago- they were cheap and cheerful (£10) and a good few washes in, they're still going strong and aren't baggy.

espa · 25/09/2014 20:12

Topshop black ones are really poor quality. The denim ones I have are better. I've tried H&M but they are too skinny in the legs!

LightUpLightUp · 25/09/2014 21:19

Top shop ones have lasted me from 14 weeks through to now ! (36 weeks)

toomanypasswords · 25/09/2014 21:22

Debenhams Red Herring maternity range. I had a pair last time and bought another this time and love them!

espa · 26/09/2014 20:29

M&S have literally just started to stock some maternity jeans. Fancy trying them as quite like jeans I have from there pre pregnancy as they were nice and stretchy. Just not sure I need another pair...

MrsPatMustard · 28/09/2014 09:50

Also worth checking out NCT nearly new sales for bargains (they tend to be happening at this time of year. My local one is in a fortnight.) When I was preggers I got some fab maternity clothes from them.

Bought some New Look underbump ones at about 16 weeks when I could no longer waer my normal jeans. They stay up, fit well (I'm a 10-12 and found the 10 perfect) and have not lost their shape. They have started to fade slightly but I do wash them a lot and the ankles are slightly big but I turn them up anyway. Bought some asos ble skinnies at the same time but they will not stay up, I think as the elastic is only at the front. Will be buying some New Look blue jeans too, and they are only £20!
