Hi all

Basically im 12 weeks, and ive had moments when i get the shakes and have to eat something, I work part time do 4 hours of a morning but its a very physical job.

Around 11 every day at work i start getting the shakes and feel funny and have to eat, normally grab chocolate as its close to hand at work, could this be low blood sugar?

I had it again last night that does not normally happen so its starting to make me worry, should i pop into the doctors?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds absolutely normal to me, I'm like this every day at only 7 weeks and it lasted for the whole first trimester last time. I have to eat lots of small meals... Trying to avoid rubbish but it has to be savoury, bready stuff for me. I start to feel sick I'd I don't eat.
I would try to keep snacks handy at all times but ask go or midwife if you're worried x

I had this in first trimester and fainted a few times, it's started to happen again in the third trimester but not as much.
My midwife said I should eat something every two hours, not anything big she even said a smoothie or something. I always keep a snack on me and a fruity drink which helps as it can happen suddenly.
