Gestational diabetes - blood sugar readings seem to have levelled at 36 weeks - any experiences?

Hi, have diagnosis of GD, diet controlled - blood readings have been in range but varying between 3.8 and 6.7 so far, usually 4's and 5's. This week I have had very level readings - barely any variation: 4.5 - 5.5. Is this just a coincidence do you think, or has something changed? Did this happen to anyone else?

May be worth calling the midwife. I'm type 1 and I know diabetics' placentas don't last as long as a non diabetic's and a symptom of this can be reduced insulin requirements. This could show with lower readings, but I'm not sure how much it affects type 2s but may be worth asking?
