I am booked in today to have a reflexology session.
I'm a bit nervous and have no idea what to expect but I can hear it can start you off so I am willing to give it a go.
Just wanted to hear what people have thought when they gave it a go?

My SIL says it worked for her both times (she was only a couple of days overdue with both babies).

I'm 40 weeks on Sunday, and have reflexology booked for Saturday. Will go again on Tuesday if no joy... after that I'll leave it be.

Frankly it's got to be better than induction, so worth a try/the cost!

I had reflexology 2 days before my due date and am now a week overdue! I went to a practitioner recommended by DHs colleague but I wasn't overly impressed and didn't fancy spending out on a second session, especially now maternity pay has kicked in.

I had three sessions in the weeks leading up to my due date with a midwife trained in reflexology. DS1 was born the day before my due date - which would have been my last session. The reflexology midwife was able to visit us that afternoon instead of my session!

I had it the day before my due date and went in to labour the next day! Would definitely try it again!

Well ladies I would highly recommend it even if it is just for pure relaxation.
she wouldn't tell me which part of my foot was my stomach or uterus she told told me 2 tell her if I felt anything which I did my baby kicked and wriggled like there was no tomorrow when she was on my uterus so strange but wonderful x

It is interesting, my auntie is a reflexologist so I got it for free, very relaxing. Didn't make me go into labour thou was 37 weeks at the time (I had an elcs 2 weeks after) but was fascinating.

I had reflexology at 39 weeks and now 12 days overdue so it didn't work for me but it was very relaxing and for that alone is worth a go.
