Blue fingernails

Has anyone else's fingernails turned blue? Comes halfway up the nailbed like little bruises. I'm 10 weeks no breathing problems. I am still very vomity and probably fairly dehydrated despite my best efforts, intermittant headache too. I have an appointment with the GP this afternoon anyway as suspect I may have a UTI but trying to stay away from Dr Google in meantime so I thought I'd ask here.

I think blue fingernails in pregnancy can be a sign of B12 deficiency. (Am not hcp! Just remember reading it somewhere) Would defo mention it along with other symptoms to GP. Smile

Peripheral cyanosis. It sounds like your oxygen in your blood is going to where it's needed the most, ie:the baby.
GP will get you back on track.
Hope you get sorted :)

My fingernails were often blue during the first trimester with my first pregnancy and this one (now 27 weeks). Midwife wasn't worried, just said something vague about low blood pressure. Hope you're ok.

I have noticed that they only appear after I vomit. I often have a bout of uncontrollable shaking/ shivering afterwards and that's when they occur then fade after 3-4 hours. GP did a few tests and my liver is apparently a bit crap at the moment so following up with that first.
