My sickness and nausea has been awful, cravings insane, sleepiness like nothing I've ever experienced and my emotions are all over the place.Plus I've been really short of breath and dizzy on and off for the last 3/4 weeks.
It may be payback for two relatively easy pregnancies before, but I obviously have somewhere in the back of my head this niggling little thought that it could be twins as have had several dreams about it.
Anyone any experience?or is this just normal for number 3?
Confused

Same thing happened to me, it was twins Grin

I've had less symptoms this time round (3rd dc) until recently I'm in agony I just can't get comfy. If I stand up my ribs hurt and I get tonnes of braxton hicks if I sit down it feels like there's not room for the baby and if I lie down my back and hips hurt.
I'm only almost 33 weeks, dreading having up to 9 more weeks of this.

I'm pregnant with my 2nd and this pregnacy has been much worse but only having one. Both boys to xx

Soontobesix can I ask did you get a v early positive on your test?I only ask as that seems to be quite a common sign but I didn't have this.
There are no twins on my side of the family that I know of either which I know is also a key sign, did you have a history of multiples?
I am also bigger than I would have expected to be at this stage, but I'd imagine that is more to do with a distinct lack of muscle tone this time around than anything else!
Maybe it is just being older and grumpier that makes this time seem so much harder!Confused
It could equally be that I

I had very similar experiences at the start of this, my third pregnancy. I now know I am 20 weeks pregnant with twins. I was really sick, exhausted and out of breath and had the niggley feeling. Was very different to my two previous pregnancies from the off. Do you have a scan booked? Good luck!!

Biffalobuff · 22/09/2014 20:57

tonightsthekindofnight scan is this week so don't have long to wait but am very impatient!
Did you have any history of twins?

Not really , I only got a positive on 13 dpo.

magichandles · 22/09/2014 21:43

I had this with my third pregnancy and was panicking it was twins - just the one in there though. MW at booking said it was quite normal.

SoonToBeSix · 22/09/2014 21:44

My twins are identical , only fraternal twins run in families. Twins are wonderful , hard work but worth it. Would you be happy if it turned out to be twins?

Biffalobuff · 22/09/2014 22:48

Terrified but yes would be happy. Will also be happy if it's just one though!

Not too long to wait now but just want to know baby/babies are happy and healthy!

Hoping second trimester is easier than this one though, sick and tired of feeling sick and tired!

Hi maybe this baby is a different gender ? I am currently preggers with baby 3 and have experienced every symptom this time ! I am 20 wks and have only just started feeling human !
My first son no symptoms , baby 2 HG . Baby 3 EVERYTHING lol .Smile

Biffalobuff · 23/09/2014 18:53

Aah but I have one of each already!Had an emergency scan today as had v bad pains this morning, turns out they were because of a clot, although I doubt that causes the other symptoms.Only one in there though!

So much worse this (second) time around. So ill, dizzy, sick, lasting for much, much longer. It's about ten times worse. People keep telling me it must be a girl since first was DS. So ergo different pregnancy equals different sex. It REALLY makes me rage when I hear it!

Hope you feel better soon :)

Oh yes i meant to say - it's just the one in there :)

Ihateparties · 23/09/2014 19:19

Here too, felt a lot worse for a lot longer with #3. It was the 3rd pregnancy in 4 years though so I put at least some of it down to that (and the resulting children from the other pregnancies Grin).

Bothofyou · 23/09/2014 19:56

I am 18wks with dc3, first two pregs I sailed through and this one has floored me! Spent first 13weeks sick as a dog, and now I still get nauseous if I don't eat constantly (am usually slim and am hating chubbing up) and am knackered and sleeping loads when I can. Just one baby in there tho! And I've had a boy and a girl so unless this one is an alien there is no darn reason. Good luck, hope you feel better soon!
