Wind or baby movements?

I have had an extraordinary gurgly windy tummy for the last 3 months (no-one tells you about nearly gassing yourself with it!)! However the gurgles seem a bit different maybe like bubbles bursting maybe? I am 19 weeks could this be baby movement?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I realised it was baby I could feel when I started having "gas bubbles" outside of mealtimes and when nothing came out. And because I sometimes had these "bubbles" high on my side, I just concluded it was baby! The context will help you Smile

Do you feel a little flutter too?

squizita · 19/09/2014 19:28

Yep it was context for me.
40+ now... Can tell because now no matter how windy I am no far is going to look like a bum and two little legs poking my belly! Grin I still get the wind and blame baby to limited success.

Thanks for the replies! Seems to have passed so seem to be getting excited about nothing maybe? Might be based round meal times! Although I do seem to feel gurgly most of the time!

Ah but I have noticed (now that I can more or less differentiate between gas and movement) that my little bean is very active at meal time! Especially when I drink water! So it could also be your baby Grin

And it's normal not to feel them consistently at your stage. I'm 24+1 now and there are still days when I barely feel mine. I think you're supposed to monitor movement from 28 weeks onward, because before that, your observations aren't accurate enough?
