There was an article in the Guardian today that said women who eat a lot of chocolate in pregnancy have more content and active babies!

Thought you'd like to know!!!! Now I know why dd2 is so good! I was in hospital for the month before she was born and ate a LOT of Galaxy!

DH pointed this out to me today. I went right off chocolate when I was pregnant with DS1 - got pregnant just before Easter and my huge Thorntons egg was still there at the end of June....made up for it with DS2 and ate chocolate every day
DS2 is very happy but DS1 has discovered the delights of choc choc for himself now and he's very happy too (and looking forward to the weekend no doubt!)

I ate lots of chocolate in my first pregnancy and dd has always been quite a happy laid back child.

With this one I've not eaten as much chocolate but not stopped altogether. Might need to start eating some more on this advice, still got 5 weeks until due date I'm sure I can manage plenty of chocolate between now and then

I ate tonnes of choc spread during my pregnancy so hopefully there is something in this

This is great news! Mars Delight and Galaxy bars have been keeping my alive these last 19 weeks.

I was worried I was eating too much of the stuff to be healthy, so I might incorporate chocolate sauce as a dressing on salads, and a gravy substitute for my veggies on Sunday lunches and maybe instead of milk in tea (decaf of course!) ...
