You responded to my panicy thread about me panicing about my 12 week scan and I remember that yours was today. Do post and tell us how it went

how lovely that you remembered! Everything is absolutely fine. I'd got myself into a right old state - I hardly got any sleep last night, I was so worried - and I was starting to feel a bit weepy when the ultrasound doctor put the gel on, expecting just a black void on the screen. But straight away, she said "yep - there's your baby" - and there he/she was, bouncing around like a little nutter! I was very surprised by how active he/she was. All in all, it was a magical (and tearful) experience. I feel a lot more relaxed about things now, and sort of properly pregnant, if that makes any sense. We've got four little pictures, all very clear, and I'm sure everyone I know will be bored to death of looking at them within the next few days.

Wotcha, lady! I'm so pleased for you! You can attempt to bore me with your scan pictures but it won't work! Hopefully, I'll be trying to bore you back in 7 weeks time.

Really pleased it all went well - relief isn't it!
