I need some reassurance. I'm pregnant for the second time I'm 13 weeks! Smile My first pregnancy was a missed miscarriage I found out at my 11 week scan my baby had died very early on! :-( My scan is 3 days where I will be 13 weeks 3 days but I can't help but think something is going to be wrong, like I'm not even pregnant, or it's another missed miscarriage I have hardly no symptoms apart from being sick one, bigger breasts and frequent urination! reassurance plz x

I too found out at my first pregnancy scan that I'd had a miscarriage, devastating way to find out.

We now have a beautiful 5 year old daughter and I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with a boy Smile

Both pregnancies have had barely any symptoms at all, so don't worry much about that and just enjoy it!

Congratulations and I hope all is well for you Flowers

Hey Nikkixo, sorry for your earlier loss, and congratulations on your pregnancy! By 13 weeks lots of us have lost symptoms....you shouldn't worry about this - they can come and go and although after miscarriage every twinge is cause for worry, most of the time it doesn't mean anything. You actually list quite a few symptoms (I know it doesn't feel like it!). Good luck with the scan - it is the most petrifying thing after MC, and a huge milestone. Depending on how you are, it can be worth calling them to ensure you are not in the same room you were when told the news previously, or to request a different sonographer. These things didn't bother me but I know some other ladies found it very helpful as it is such an emotional time. What I did find very helpful was to tell the sonographer right as soon as I went in that I was very anxious and had suffered previous MC and that really helped me as she straight away told me there was a HB this time and then spent time looking at everything else. Obviously totally up to you. I also was pretty emotional when we got a 'everything looks fine' but they were very understanding. good luck! There is a great pregnancy after miscarriage thread high up on the chat list if you want additional support....

My first pg ened in MC my second pregnancy resulted in the kid snoring next door. I never stopped worrying every time I was at the loo I would hold my breath for blood I did have a small bleed at 7 weeks with DS where I said to my friend before i'd been to the hospital that I was having another MC when DS was healthy as a horse. We are ttc #2 and I think I will be the same this time tbh I don't think you ever get over the fear of losing another baby but you need to have faith that things will work out and soon you will be holding your little baby in disbelief that you got so far.

I'm the same everytime I go to the toilet I check for blood. Silly I know. But I'm 98percent sure I just heard my baby's heartbeat on the Fetal Doppler??

I was litrally checking while I was in hospital being induced It won't leave you but you just need to picture that baby not the MC. I had a 2 private scans I asked for for my birthday and xmas which mad a massive difference to me you should look into it watching the DVD of your strong little baby can reassure you when you feel worried.
