Hand Foot and Mouth

DS has hand foot and mouth - I am 5 weeks pregnant and worried! I have googled and the information about pregnant women and hand foot and mouth is a bit vague - some sites say its fine others say there is an increased of miscarriage if you catch it.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

My dd had hand foot and mouth at the beginning of the year when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. I too was concerned about any affect to me or the baby, I was assured by the gp that there was no problem and even if I had of caught it, it would not be transferable at all to the baby. My dd had no end of illnesses whilst I was pregnant, it's a worry isn't it!
