Hi all!

My partner and I have been trying for a baby for a while and yesterday, I took a clearblue digital test and the result came back as pregnant 1-2. I'm assuming this means I'm probably more like 3-4 weeks, but it usually have a long cycle.
Anyhoo, what I'm wondering is, would it be too early to book a docs appointment for next week to get it confirmed? Can doctors even do this....? I've no idea!

Any advice will be greatly appreciated Smile

Hi! Congratulations! First of all, I believe there is no such thing as an early appointment! I would get booking! I know that my doctors don't perform pregnancy tests anymore, and ask you to do one at home, and then book the appointment to tell them. But your
Doctors may well do pregnancy tests. You could ask them over the phone when you call. At the appointment they'll ask you when you think the first day of your last period was, and the normal length of your cycle, etc. They will then book you in for your first midwives appointment! Depending on how far along you are, I had mine at around 8 weeks. Good luck! X
