Reassure me?! Just used Lyclear before realising I maybe shouldn't!

Bought some lyclear nit treatment for my 3 year old and when in the shower this morning thought I should use it too just in case. After putting it on and leaving it for a few minutes (says to leave it for at least 10) I realised I should have checked the info leaflet!

Rinsed it out (for a long time!) and then read the leaflet - it says to seek medical advice before using Sad

Not much I can do now other than seek reassurance! Anyone used it whilst pregnant/sought medical advice and told it would be ok?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Probably fine and just then protecting themselves. Maybe call in to a chemist and ask today?

Hi, its thought to be fine as it is a 'physical' insectiside that uses a type of silicone to suffocate lice, rather than killing them with chemicals.

Here is a patient info leaflet that explains this, and summarises all of the available information about treating headlice in pregnancy. Hope this is helpful.
