Advise on my chances of pregnancy?!

Hi all,

I had unprotected sex with my husband on 3rd August (but he withdrew early [sorry TMI]) and my period started on it's due date, 15th August (finished on 21st August). It looked, lasted and felt like all my other periods.

But since the end of August I've started to get strong headaches from the back of my head. I've had about a week of insomnia, and also at the end of August I got thrush, and I never get thrush, so I googled it and it was listed as a pregnancy symptom. This was the first time I heard alarm bells, the thrush went after a couple of days, and I've now had a full week of sore breasts, and i ONLY ever get sore breast for the 2 days before my period is due.

My next period is due 29th September and I have literally spent every waking minute reading about pregnancy symptoms. If I've had a regular looking period since the unprotected sex, what are the chances of pregnancy?

Sorry to say but it's extremely unlikely you're pregnant from the incident at beginning August- you would've missed your August period.

Thank you Serenitysutton, I really thought I won't be as well, but feel like I am getting all these phantom symptoms!

Why haven't you just taken a test?

I know it's easy to get mixed up with symptom spitting but really the ultimate symptom is periods stopping. I know it's tough when you have to wait for it, but there isn't much else you can do.

If my period doesn't come on by 1st October (I'm giving it 2 days to be late) then I will take a test. I haven't taken one yet as it's only been about a week since alarm bells, and I've also had a period since the unprotected sex.

I did calculate my fertile window and discovered its actually during the time of unprotected sex

I'm also due a small operation in November so this is very bad timing to be pregnant!
