How to broach having another at 43

I have 3 dc. Love having them. Had fertility issues so had them late. First was ivf. Second was conceived after failed ivf attempt. Third was natural but took 2 yeRs. Am older but wanting another. Dh was shocked I got preggers 3 rd time but would love to try for 4 th but dh so careful now but didn't want vasectomy. Is this mad? Not a spring chicken but think hubby will put breaks on?

Have you discussed before how many children you would like? Is he so careful now because he does t want more?

I just had DS two weeks ago at 41 and negotiated DC3 with DH during my CS! My surgeons were a husband and wife team who have four children so they were on my side in the debate!

But seriously, talk to your husband. DC4 is no madder than DCs1 to 3.
