Hi,
Has anyone had a vaginal wall prolapse during late pregnancy? If so how did this affect the birth, treatment after, sex life ( eventually) & was it ever reversed?

hi there, not in late pregnancy but I did have one when I was about 17 weeks with my 4th dc. started with me not being able to pee for about 12 hrs which was excruciating and ended up on a&e with a catheter!! following that they saw me again a few days later and inserted a 'donut' a ring shaped soft plastic thing which sits around the cervix to hold the vaginal wall in place. that stayed in for about 2 weeks but then got uncomfortable and was taken out. baby came early but don't think that was related as my 2nd was also prem! since the pregnancy I've had physio to help with the prolapse and it seems to have worked, and tbh sex life is no different to before. I hope you're doing OK and not on top much discomfort, make sure you all about aftercare for yourself to deal with it xx
