Anyone else got their 12 week scan next week and so scared?

Hi ladies,
I have my 12 week scan on friday and am scared to death. I had a mmc in feb, and just so scared their not going to find a heartbeat again.
The waiting is pure torture, i feel like time is standing still.
Anyone else feeling the same?

I did. The same happened to me with my first pregnancy. I now have a 2.5 yr old DS and am 39 weeks pregnant again.

You just have to try and take your mind off it, there's nothing you can do. It's very emotional and difficult but the likelihood will be that everything will be fine.

I've got mine on Tuesday, scared witless, although no real reason to be, had a mc at 7 week's last year, can't imagine the fear after a previous mmc. I guess you just have to think the odds are everything will be fine, I think it's a much smaller risk at this stage? Good luck, fx for you.

I've got mine Friday too. Had bad news at our last in July. Though paid for an 8 week scan to make me less mental, it was good news but still terrified. Best if luck with yours.

Lozzy, I've got mine on Thursday. Mmc in April, so I know exactly where you're coming from.

I vary between being convinced it's going to be bad news, to being excited as then we can start to tell people.

We've just got back from a (prebooked) 2 week holiday and it couldn't have been at a better time-killed the 3 weeks between booking appointment and scan. I'd have been climbing the walls if I was at home!
