Hi ladies, wanted to run something past you. Im in my 11th week and or the past couple of weeks ive noticed quite a thick, gloppy, yellowish tinged discharge.
Ive obviously googled this, and a vaginal infection comes up as a possible, but i hve no itching, pain, dont feel uncomfy or anything like that.
Spoke to my midwife about it and she didnt seem overly concerned but said to see a dr if it continues.
Wondering if anyone else has had similar?

I did around the same stage, with no other symptoms.

It's stopped now though (I'm 24 weeks).

I had and to some extent still have this (19+4).

It can be the sign of a vaginal infection so do get swabbed. It is really easy and painless and your practice nurse can do it: literally a cotton bud on vaginal wall, swipe swipe, and that's it. They send it off to the lab and you get results in a few days. It's worth it to reassure yourself.

But for me it was clean. And I have read on the internet - though this is just anecdotes, really - that if you are taking certain multivits like Pregnacare, they turn not only your wee darker yellow, but for some women, discharge as well.

I have taken P'care religiously throughout and chose to believe that's what it is!

But keep an eye it doesn't turn brown/ bloody and if it does ring MW.

I has this when pregnant with ds. I mentioned it to my doctor who gave me a swab to do myself. I had a vaginal infection. Mild course of antibiotics all sorted. Best to get a swab done and find out rather than worrying about it.

I'm on pregnacare and take it religiously and my wee and discharge is .darker. Don't worry about it

I have had this from the beginning and am now 35 weeks. Had a swab which came back clear. Must be the pregnacare also, thanks for asking lozzy!

Pregnancy discharge can be yellow. If you're worried your GP can do a simple swab test or urine test?
Mine was yellow when I was taking vitamin B (Ttc and 1st trimetser) and vitamins. Seems a common, harmless, side effect.
