Coming off pill (microgynon)

I came off pill 22/8/14 had bleed 26/8/14 til 31/8/14 I have had cramps in lower stomach and back with white discharge for 2-3 days it's 11/9/14. Bad headache today and peeing quite often. We have had unprotected sex (a lot) but surely I couldn't be pregnant ??? Or could I?? Confused.com

Microgynon does take a while to get out of the system in my experience. I had odd side effects. The only way to know is to test though I'm afraid.

I came off mycrogynon at the end of november, had a bleed and then convinced myself I was pregnant after christmas. I felt like I had all the symptoms, but I think it was actually my body gearing up for a proper period. Things settled down after that and I got my BFP in early march. I think bella is right, it takes a while for your body to get back to normal coming off the pill, but there are lot of stories of people getting pregnant on their first cycle. The only way to know is to do a test when you think your period is due.

When i came off November last year my periods were hell but it took a while to come! Then i ended up having a period every 2 weeks it finally settled down by april and got my BFP in July :)

I came off Microgynon at the end of last November and found out I was pregnant in Feb... It might just be your body getting ready for a Period! Try not to worry too much

I came off microgynon in october, had period in November. My baby is three weeks old. I was on it for 8 years nonstop. So yes it's possible

I came off Microgynon in late December 2013 and conceived in January 2014, so very very quick for me. I'd been taking the pill for 4 years. I thought it would take at least 6 months to conceive as that's what I'd been advised, quite a shock! but a good shock :)

I came off it after 5 years in June by the end of June I was pregnant, erm and there was I thinking it would take ages

In fact similar symptoms like period pain but it didn't come, only took test because I knew it would be first thing they asked at drs

I was on microgynon for years, came off it mid packet the day after our wedding, slight breakthrough bleed then got pregnant with a honeymoon baby, so yes it's possible.

FWIW, I came off Cerazette to try for no 2 and had no period but conceived first month! Our apparently super fertility scares me a little as I definitely don't want no 3, vasectomy talks underway!

I was on Rigevidon (apparently the same as Microgynon). EXACTLY the same as 2wolves, came off in December and was pregnant by Jan, had expected 6 months - a year so was v unprepared for the BFP! (so so happy now though that it happened that way!)

Came off microgynon after 15 years. Was pregnant 2 months later. I suspect with your dates, you are experiencing ovulation pain etc.

You should be getting very very busy over the next few days if you are ttc.
