Hey, just looking for other people's experiences really. Had a bleed yesterday, about a tablespoon of the bright red stuff after being to the loo (sorry for tmi!). Definitely not from back end. ANYWAY! went to the hospital in a panic - not had ANY bleeding since becoming pregnant, and after 3 hours got sent home. They did the usual blood pressure, pulse, temp etc of me and the midwife found both heartbeats (we're having twins) which we heard for the first time. Both around 144bpm so the MW was happy with that. Doc did an internal and was happy that my cervix was closed and that he couldn't see any trauma or anything (e.g. placenta) sticking out. He seemed to think that they're (the babies) are maybe having a growth spurt and something just leaked out?! Has anyone experienced this? I've been told that the bleeding will settle down (it's now very light - much like the very end of a period) and there's nothing to worry about. But I'm freaking out a wee bit!! Should I expect more bleeds or did it settle down for you? Didn't sleep at all last night, and now thinking that all (the usual) pregnancy aches and pains are something more sinister! Paranoid or what? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.
