Hello lovely ladies!
I am here to gather some thoughts, suggestions and see what you think of the project we're doing in Stoke Newington. It is not intended as a comercial promo plot! That will probably come later ;)
I am very excited about this project because I had a lot of pregnant actress friends who couldn't work in theatre industry... Then I found that predjudice and obstacles are actually quiet rife towards pregnancy and maternity leaves etc in other areas! So we're writing a play based on all of this... Against the clock because those babies have their due dates! :)

Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful times in a woman's life...
For our six pregnant actresses, it also became the ideal artistic theme for a devised play.
A fun, emotional, charming and comedic show, also reflecting on some relevant and important messages such as how pregnancy is dealt with in employment today, whether the field is artistic or other.
Sure, there may be some things they can't do like... Seeing their own feet but they do raise some significant questions drawn from their own experiences, Cultures, thoughts, fears and maternity dresses.
During their different gestation stages, this cast risked and gave it their all in an artistic project that is more ephemeral than theatre itself.
They now open the doors to an intimate insight in this unique run from 1st December to 14th December in 3 venues across London.
