When did morning sickness start/finish for you

Hi all, found out on Friday I'm pregnant, 5+3, and just wondered if/when you had morning sickness. I had a mmc in April and didn't have any pregnancy symptoms. I know it's still early this time round but so far the pregnancy has been the same - no symptoms - and naturally scared it's going to end the same way as before. Hoping for strong symptoms to put my mind at rest

Found out when I was around 5 weeks. Found out due to suddenly feeling horrendous, was told at the doctors I was pregnant, also suspected water/kidney infection so was given a 7 day course of antibiotics safe to take in pregnancy. Made no difference to how I feel and have felt like it ever since Sad currently 8 weeks, I have my first midwife appointment today so I am going to ask about the ins and outs of being signed off from work for a bit. Wishing everyone the best Thanks

I started feeling sick at about 6 weeks, it finally eased off about 30 weeks just as the pnd kicked in Hmm. With dd it wasn't quite so bad.

Both great big 9lb plus babiesSmile Good luck

Nausea started at 6.5 weeks, peaked at 8 weeks. then became intermittent up until 18 weeks. I panicked at 9 weeks as had a day when it suddenly disappeared after being really bad. All was fine, and it came back with vengeance. Never actually vomitted, but the nausea was horrendous, constantly felt like I could vomit.

I never had I'd with my first, in fact I had no symptoms to speak of for most of my pregnancy except eventually a growing bump. This time around I have been really sick with morning sickness since about 6 weeks, got progressively worst throughout the week and seems to have peeked now. Althought it now showing any signs of abaiting yet. Still early days though, only 8 weeks but it's been two weeks of barely being able to eat or drink anything, feeling really rotten.

Anyway, my point was every pregnancy is different and you may very well be amongst those lucky women who have a sickness free pregnancy and that would be amazing! Good luck with your pregnancy and fx you don't get too sick if you do at all!

Started properly throwing up at about 8 weeks (didn't know I was pregnant until 7 weeks), finished at about 17/18 weeks.

dreamingofwineandcheese · 10/09/2014 09:23

I had constant all day nausea from week 6-15 this time, it finished a bit earlier first time around. Disappeared after that though and now 39+3 and it hasn't reappeared thank goodness!

Only1scoop · 10/09/2014 09:25

Arrived at around 7 weeks lasted until 39 weeks. Absolutely vile.

MrsG, I had an MMC discovered at 8 weeks last year. I'd had one day where I'd gagged walking past some bins, but nothing else.

I'm now 27 weeks pregnant and haven't had a whisper of either nausea or full blown sickness, nothing at all. Made for a rather anxious fucking stressful first trimester, especially as my mum suffered from ms rather badly with all three pregnancies. Having said that I'm now extremely grateful to have been spared it! Good luck.

With DS1, from 9 weeks til about 35ish weeks, sick every 30 minutes/1 hour
With DS2, had anti emetics so felt sicky from 6ish weeks to labour but only sick every other day or so

ilovelamp82 · 10/09/2014 13:48

Started at 6 weeks. Finished 14 weeks, with both

beccajoh · 10/09/2014 13:49

DC1 - started 5 weeks exactly, ended 40+6 (day I gave birth).
DC2 - started 7+2 and finished 7+3. I think it might actually have been a bug.

PositiveAttitude · 10/09/2014 13:51

With all 5 DC - started within 24 hours of conception (that's how I knew I was pregnant after the first time) Stopped 30 minutes before labour each time.

DinoSnores · 10/09/2014 14:06

Starts about 6-8 weeks

Ends on the day I go into labour. I stop feeling sick once labour starts.

capecath · 10/09/2014 16:43
