I felt the baby move...

Yesterday I was lying down have a cuddle with my dog and I felt a very odd bubbly, fluttery movement in my stomach which I'm pretty sure was the baby moving. A couple of hours later I was chatting to my dp when I felt it again! It was all very exciting. I'm 20 weeks with my first (my scan is tomorrow) and i wanted to know if I should be feeling movements every day at this stage? I had just had a sugary drink about half an hour before I felt the baby move so maybe the sugar made the little chap/chappette a bit more active?

For me the first flutters with my first were at about the same stage as you and were not every day and didn't become regular for a few weeks.

Its such an awesome feeling isn't it! Smile

That's baby movement alright! And it doesn't have to be regular yet.

I'm lying here now (at 33 weeks) feeling a very definite foot poke out the side. It still amazes me every time.

I find fruit is the best at getting my baby going by the way.

It is addictive to feel baby. I'm on no2 and this time I feel the baby way more then with my first.. You will get to one point where you will tell the bump to slow down a bit. GrinGrinGrin

I'm only 15+5 with twins but was sure of the same thing yesterday, it seems too early but I definitely felt it.

With me it tickles/feels itchy and I end up itching the bubbly area, and then it stops. Does this sound like the same thing? It was hard to get excited so early because I was convinced it couldn't be happening so soon?

I'm particularly interested to know if you felt the need to have a good itch of the area? Lol

Ooooh first movements! :) I had the same at late 19weeks, but haven't had much since and now at 21wk and my 20wk scan all was OK so I wouldn't worry about it being too regular yet :)

It's addictive sitting around and waiting for more! :D
