Hi all

My HB and I have been TTC for 18 months and after multiple gp tests just had a referral through to go and see a specialist at the hospital. However this morning we got our long prayed for bfp Smile Unfortunately I had to tell my HB over the phone because I'm off to Paris with work for the week! Not sure how ill explain the lack of drinking..... I can't wait for him to join me there on Friday!

Anyway I'm now so nervous it won't stick. I know it's pointless to worry because there's nothing I can do but I just needed to share. Any advice on how to relax and not fret?

Pointless post I know but I had to tell someone!!!

Congratulations! That is lovely news Smile

I don't know how to stop the fretting. In a few days, the news will sink in a bit and seem more real, especially when your DH joins you on Friday.

You could explain the lack of drinking by saying you are on antibiotics.

Hope your trip goes well and many congratulations.

Thank you so much for replying, hopefully as you say the news will sink in over the next few days! Now I just need to get through a week in France without eating any soft cheese, shellfish or wine....!

Fabulous news, many congratulations! You will become more comfortable and confident as the pregnancy goes on. Apps like baby centre are really great for tracking how the little bean is growing and gives you tips on stuff to avoid etc.
Try and enjoy your trip, avoid pate too!
