Hi ladies.

I'm about 7+5 weeks and last week I had some blood when I wiped, I felt awful but was reassured it could be normal as it was only once with no other bleeding since.

Now I can't stop worrying that something has happened and it's been ignored. :/
Anything like this happened to anyone else?

Hi tylastar,

A little blood can be normal as I have found out this week.
It's not too late for you to contact your midwife for an appointment at an early pregnancy unit for some reassurance! Otherwise you may find yourself obsessing and wondering.

Take my advice - get to your EPU and I'm sure they will be more than happy to see you and give you a scan, then hopefully you'll be able to put your mind at rest.

Can I request to be referred? I don't have a midwife yet.
My GP is so slack and I'm just worried he won't refer me.

Some EPAU will accept self referrals, it's worth checking your local hospital. Otherwise your GP may refer you, though if not, another option would be to have a private scan. A lot of places will scan from 7 weeks and often the price is reasonable, the one I used was about £65 for a reassurance/dating scan.
Try googling to find if there are any in your local area.
Early pregnancy can be a worrying time, having an early scan will hopefully give you the reassurance you need.
