faint positive or negitive? HELP!! ( pic attached)

so iv missed a period and approaching what would be my next period. I did a test last night and got a very faint positive so went out and bought some more today just to make sure and both tests came back negative. the tests were different makes. could I still be pregnant? or am I getting my hopes up?

I see a faint line above, definitely. If it's early days then only first morning wee might show up.

I was pregnant in may and iv got all the same syptoms ( unless my bodys playing tricks on me) but I miscarried at 7 weeks and worried its going to happen again. especially now iv had two negative tests. should j wait a couple of days now instead of upsetting myself?

Get the same brand as above test but do it first thing.

Def can see a line on that. Test again in the morning with a good brand test. Good luck

Yep, that's positive. In my experience, you never get even a faint line unless you are pregnant.

it will have to be tuesday morning. the test with the faint positive is from the hospital and the ones I did today was just cheap ones just dnt want to get my hopes up. the test didnt have the faint line this morning either... but the other line was still there strong x

I also missed my period in august june and july was normal. feel like my body is taking the mick out of me x

so this morning I did two more tests both the same make. Thist another faint positive and a negative I did them from the same sample of wee and at the same time?? is my body messing with my head or am I over thinking things and not pregnant

I'd buy a superdrug, first response or clearblue standard test and try with that x

I can't see the faint positive from those ones but def could on the first one. I still would say you are pregnant and to leave it a few days, buy a reliable test and do it first thing in the morning again. I've now got 3 children but with infertility treatment. I've willed myself to see that positive line so many times and if outsiders can see it, then it is there. Further, if it is there, I would say that you are def pregnant. However, you could try one of those tests that say "pregnant" (like clear blue) so there is no doubt . That can't be mis-read.

I might just leave it another week. I feel like imgoing mental. the test is fainter this morning but might take a trip to the gp in the morning and let them test. I just want a genuine answer xx

tink a trip to the gp isn't going to help. They will get the same as you but will care less so won't try to see a line. I did four tests the same and they had variations of darkness (hard to see on pics). Best thing you can do is wait til tomorrow FMU and buy a better a test. Fwiw, I think you are. I have attached my tests - I am 12 weeks now. These were the first ones i did (last one was two days after the first lot): hopefully they'll give you hope x

I can see a line on the bottom one of the new tests and that will only be there if you have hcg in your urine. Going by your dates that would make you around 7 weeks and generally faint lines happen very early on. Do you have irregular cycles? I'm just wondering if it's possible you could be earlier on in the pregnancy than that. In light of your previous mcs it might be possible to get a referral to the epu for blood tests so do ask your gp. I'm keeping everything crossed for you

I can see a positive - contrary to other advice, trying taking the test later in the day.

I always got negative or unclear results with FMU and much clearer results in the evening.

thank you for help. im worried its going to happen again. I was only between 5-7 weeks pregnant when I miscarried before. yes im iiregular but I have one every month I never ever miss one. gonna leave it a couple of days now ( if I dnt get too impatient) see what the tests says then then go to gp for blood tests x

I can see a feint line on the bottom one. Wait a few more days n test again, Boots ones r good for a fiver. I use these all the time, and get positives even later in the day. Good luck.

Sorry tink I wasn't suggesting it may have happened again just that some hospitals offer early scans to women who have had miscarriages in the past for reassurance. I didn't mean to sound flippant or cause upset

If you have irregular periods it is possible that you may have ovulated later in your cycle and are not very far along, meaning it's not showing up clearly on the tests yet. False positives are so rare but you can get a false negative if it's really early. Please come back and update when you can x

You didnt upset me :-) im just feeling anxious about it happening again and I just wish I could have a test that told me where I am. im such an emotion stressy cow at the minute. my hormones are all over. I wanna cry shout scream n be held all at once lol. xxx
