I hope I'm posting this in the right thread! :0

I was having sex 3 days ago with my boyfriend and the condom slipped out after he finished, we didn't feel it until he pulled out and we saw that the condom was not there. It turned out to be inside me so I managed to take it out, the semen was inside the condom but I get the feeling that it must have oozed inside me (sorry to sound so graphic!).

Within 30 minutes of the incident I took the morning after pill (levonelle to be exact) I had no side effects or anything.

Right now I'm in such a panic, can anyone shed some light about their experiences with the morning after pill? I took it as soon as possible.

I might need to also say that I was on the pill on the first 3 days of my period (26th of August is when I had my period) but I had to stop taking it as I had many side effects, and since then we used a condom as our contraception method. I don't know if this will effect me.

I've taken the map with no side effects and didn't get pregnant. Sounds like you've taken the right action at the right time. Try not to panic.

Thanks for the reply! I'm really hoping that everything turns out okay. I'm trying not to think about it too much.

I took the morning after pill the day after the same situation and no side effects other than our being paranoid of it happening again.
I went on the implant for the next 8 years. Now happily pregnant (same partner now husband).

I have taken it twice previously, no problems or pregnancy either time. I wouldn't stress too much.

Thank you for the reply, I'll try not to stress about it too much

I've taken it twice in the past, no side effects and no pregnancies. It's more effective the sooner you take it so you've done well getting it within 30mins.

I also have another question, I took the morning after pill on the 5th of September, I'm supposed to start ovulation between the 8th/9th of September, will the pill have worked? I'm sightly confused since sperm can live up to 7 days so could anything happen? Or did the pill already work on the day I took it and delayed ovulation?

Your not guaranteed to get pregnant even if you didn't take the pill, but since you did, and so soon, I can't see you having any problems at all. I've taken it twice, both times on the limit of being too late to take it, and didn't become pregnant. It's a pretty effective emergency method.
