Twin cliches and repeated questions...

"double trouble"
"you're sorted if it's one of each" er... nope. We're sorted if it's two of the same flavour too! Silly people.
"Are they identical?"
"Do they run in your family?"

My friend always gets are they identical and she has a girl and a boy! People always ask if she's had ivf too

I have been asked at 12 plus weeks if its too late at that stage for them to turn into triplets!!!! Sorry not a cliche but made me laugh (it was better than the people who say they feel sorry for me!)

"Awww look at the baby, o there's another one, are they twins???"

'I always wanted twins' - usually said when I was at the end of my tether and only out of the house to save my sanity!

I hate people telling me to get sleep while I can, because I won't get any after they're born.
I get the do they run in your family as well.
I hate being told how big I am and that I'm much bigger than they were so couldn't possibly carry to term.

"Are you sure they are twins" - yes, I am pretty sure I gave birth to two babies. Mine look very different.

''was it buy one get one free?'' it was funny the first time not so much the millionth time.
''are they identical?'' they were so alike I had days when I had to look twice to be sure (teachers still have no idea which is which)
''do twins run in the family?'' I don't know but they were triplets before I lost one so now have twins.

mine are 15 now and I still get stupid comments.

Phew! Glad it's not just me. Thinking of making up a twin-bingo-sheet and actually fining people. Got to pay for that Bugaboo Donkey somehow!!!! Ha ha
