Help! incredibly sore breasts

One of the first signs that made me poas were my boulder like breasts. They were so sore swollen and hard. I've gone up 2 cup sizes and think I might need to go up a back size too.. After initial 8 weeks they stopped being so sore just very sensitive and tender nipples. I'm now 19 weeks and they feel like someone is sticking hot needles into them. I woke up last night as had burning pains going all through my breasts and nipples felt like someone had been swinging from them! They are still so painful today. Any advice or tips? Is this going to last all the way? If this is how uncomfortable they are now how will I ever cope with BF? Sad

Have you got the right size bra? Might be worth going and getting remeasured as that sounds like the pain I get when my bra is too tight.

I got a Bravado, m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/bravado-silk-seamless-nursing-bra/p40298#page_loaded it grows with you a fair bit, and haven't had boob pain since. If your nipples are sore get some lanolin - I got lansinlo and it's amazing stuff, and what you'll want for breast feeding anyway.

Thanks for the tips I just bought new bras to accommodate my new size so don't think it's that. I'll get some cream. Would you recommend sleeping in a bra?

This time & last time I've slept in a bra since I knew I was pregnant. The first time I used my sports bras until I found an alternative. M&S do a two pack of crop tops that offer a big more support overnight but are mega comfy.

I would definitely sleep in a bra, it really helped and sports bras during the day, I was fine with bf, no pain

Old tip from my mum that really helped me but in the house only. Get a cheap Savoy cabbage and put in fridge. When they really hurt put a cold cabbage leaf on each boob. So cool and soothing!!!

I'm also suffering but will try the lanolin suggestion. I've also gone up 2 cup sizes and a back size but I was already a size K to start with. My new bra is really horrible (but the only one I could buy from a UK website) and too uncomfortable to wear at night. I used to always wear a soft bra at night for support but now it's too uncomfortable. I wear my softest top. Was wondering about breast pads that you use when your milk comes in.

I had stabbing pains in nipples with ds. Excruciating. Heat helped, and stoping them getting cold in first place helped a bit.

This time so far just sensitivity. I also have large breasts but find even with fitting bras I can't face wearing them all the time. Tight vest tops help when I am just at home. Can a we myself having to sleep in them later.
