Good luck all. I had mine this week and I was really anxious about it in the run up. Fell asleep really early evening afterwards - a cocktail of relief and exhaustion....

NovemberRainbow · 05/09/2014 11:36

Hope it's going well OP. Are you finding out what your having?

natharley11 · 05/09/2014 15:48

Aww lovely Thanks

I had mine today too. Two arms, two legs all of which are a good length, two livers, one kidney, brain looks fine, placenta is in a good position and heart and blood system all fine. Baby was playing up and kind of kneeling to the side so we didn't get nearly as good pictures as we did at 12 week scan but all is well.

MultipleMama · 05/09/2014 17:13

Caley - do you mean 2 kidneys, 1 liver? Grin I'm pretty sure we only have 1 liver! Grin

Congrats to you all Flowers

CaleyThistle · 05/09/2014 17:38

Well spotted Multiple! The sonographer seemed very thorough and took loads of photos but flew through it all - except in relation to baby's heart which she kept having to come back to as baby wasn't in a good position. It's just amazing seeing the blood pump through their tiny veins...!

AnythingNotEverything · 05/09/2014 17:41

Nobody warned me that all that rooting around on your tummy can ... Erm ... Stimulate your insides a bit and have a bit of a laxative effect.

I would have like to have been warned, so in warning you!

MultipleMama · 05/09/2014 17:52

Laxative effect? Hmm Well that's new to me, I just needed to pee as soon as I was done.

Caley - It's crazy the amount of detail we see but it's always great to see everything working as it should. My little one was sleeping and refused to budge for the heart screening (but from what they saw the heart looked really good) so when I go for my growth scan in 2 weeks they're gunna try again Grin

AnythingNotEverything · 05/09/2014 19:32

Yes multiple ... Took a few hours to work but there was definitely an effect.

natharley11 · 05/09/2014 21:00

it really in depth def a relief
ours was wriggling like mad took ages get a pic
all that pressing down made my back sore tho sonographer was not gentle !
