Is Chinese birth prediction accurate?

Hi mumsnetters, if you know what you're having could you look at the Chinese birth prediction chart and report back if it's accurate?

One was right, the other was wrong.
Just a bit of fun, imo. Its going to be right half the time!

Wow both were right for my two already born dc!!
Amazing - although as previous poster says it is 50/50 so I guess lots more people need to try that out.

Mine was wrong. Statistically their 99% claims could not be true - peak conception days (e.g. valentine's day) would have all women the same age having the same gender baby! They'd notice.

Oh just done it for dd too (I'm still preg with dc2) and that was correct too!

It said my DS would be a girl and my DD would be a boy... So, nah.

Not for me, said boy and in had twin girls.

Of course they are nonsense. There is absolutely no scientific basis for it whatsoever.

Was wrong for me.

Currently pg with dc2 and it says boy again but on my scan the nub and skull are identical to dd so I'm thinking girl.

I really doubt it's right for me - 11 embryos all 'conceived' on the same day through IVF, I highly doubt they are all one sex!

Bearing in mind it's a 50/50 shot, some people are going to say yes and some people are going to say no.

Both mine were right! I'm pg with number 3 now and it says girl, we'll find out whether it's right for the third time in January!

I posted the link on Fb and everyone apart from one girl was right.
And I think she got mixed up and put in birth dates not due dates as she couldn't remember what her due dates were!

Mine was right but there was a calculator thing that changed my age/conception month to the Chinese months!

Well if there was any truth in it then my two ds' s should both be dd's so no I think it's a load of cobblers!
