Quite literally! Anyone else had a stabbing muscle pain in their bum cheek? I'm 16+2 with twins. Haven't done anything to cause it. Weird. Is this just another perk of pregnancy? Cheers

Sounds like sciatica / trapped nerve. Lots of bum cheek massage and warm baths should help to ease it a bit.

I'm 10+6 and had a really bad pain in my bum cheek too! If I push with my hand it's in the muscle I think, but I definitely haven't over exerted myself! Hope it gets better soon! X

Get the deep freeze patches stuff.
I've been reviewing it for MN & its great at relieving pregnancy pains.
I've been getting them on my upper but cheek area! They work a treat

Me! Not sure if you're doing this but I've found that sleeping with a pillow between my legs exacerbates it. (Though at 36+2 I now play a nightly lottery as to whether it's better to sleep with the leg pillow and avoid pelvic floor pain - baby has well and truly dropped - or without and avoid bum agony... Sigh.)

I'm 11+2 and been gettin pains in my bum cheek, supposedly it's sciatica and is really common in pregnancy because of how the muscles etc inside relax, it more common in 2nd/3rd tri but can affect sooner in 2nd 3rd etc pregnancies

The pain travels right down my full leg and up my back when it's at it's worst
