Well I think maybe the acupuncture yesterday did work because my waters broke this morning. Been 'triaged' and sent home again. Having a few contractions now and am booked in for an induction at 10 tomorrow if nothing gets moving.

Really want things to get going before then, any tips?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Walk as much as possible. It's really helps with the pains too. Good luck for a speedy labour!!

Dance. Get some good lively music on and get dancing!

Keep moving, maybe a nice soak in the bath or a shower I found was nice just running hot on my lower back. Have plenty to eat and drink, too.

Good luck! This time tomorrow you're hopefully going to have a squishy, new smelling baby Envy Flowers

Am def having a shower in a bit but too sore for dancing! Also waters still gushing occasionally so would worry about squirtage.

Scrub your skirting board - activity, pelvis tilted and bum in the air, all at the same time Grin

V best of luck Thanks

Or bounce on a Swiss ball if you've got one

Walk up and down the stairs with your feet as wide as possible. My midwife suggested this to help bring the baby down. I did it with DS and it worked a treat! Good luck! Flowers
